Legacy Planner’s Breakfast – 4/10/2010
This was our first Legacy Planner’s Breakfast. Attendees had breakfast with 6 speakers presenting information on topics related to survivorship planning. Most attendees took advantage of the early bird ticket sales and we were able to donate the proceeds to help Family Eldercare of Austin. Highlights of what we learned:

- Dealing with the property of a deceased loved one is a huge challenge facing many families today
- There are many options available for selling property – become educated to what would be the right option for the estate

Speaker: Mike O’Krent – Life Stories Alive (live stories videographer)
- “Not being able to afford it is not an excuse for not doing it.” This was a great theme. (With all the consumer products and software available, that excuse is not longer valid.)
